Trips and Clubs:
Cambridge School offers two After-School Club sessions each week, the first of which takes place each Tuesday, with the second taking place each Wednesday. The club runs from 3 to 5 pm.
On Tuesday we run our sports After-School Club in which there are a range of different activities including football, basketball, table tennis, tennis, and trampolining. If you would like your child to attend this club the cost is £3 per session (£30 per term). This can be paid in full at the beginning of the term or in two payments at the beginning of each half term.
On Wednesdays we run drama, music and art sessions. These are on a rotation, meaning there will be something different running each week. If you would like your child to attend this club the cost is £3 per session (£30 per term). This can be paid in full at the beginning of the term or in two payments at the beginning of each half term.
Action on Disability:
Additionally, each Thursday Action on Disability run a youth club which is based in the school. The youth club is offered not only to Cambridge students, but also to other young people with disabilities from the surrounding area. There are a variety of activities available to the young people including music, boxing, circus skills, sports, cooking and much more. Please note, Action on Disability do not require payment, however they do ask for small financial contributions where possible. This is because they are a charitable organisation, therefore their service is largely run through grants and donations.
Action on Disability also run holiday programmes at Phoenix School during October half term, February half term, the Easter holiday and the Summer holidays. These take place on Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 3:30pm. If you would like more information about the holiday schemes or you would like to register your child, please contact the school.
